No.2 is our medium leaf English Breakfast blend. Our best selling loose leaf tea, it is a blend of Assam and Ceylon teas with the addition of tea from Kenya, which gives it a beautiful coppery colour. Perfect for infusion in a metal mesh or teapot. Wakes and stimulates the metabolism!
Ceylon teas come from Sri Lanka and tend to have brisk, full flavours and a bright golden colour. Assam is a major tea growing area in India which produces leaves with a rich aroma, a dark red liquor and strong malty taste. Kenya teas are bright and coppery and often used in British blends.
We supply three variations on our English Breakfast Blend, small, medium and large leaf.
