Rooibos

A distinctive light, sweet, herbal taste create an interesting alternative to the tea produced from the Camellia sinensis plant. Native to South Africa, this naturally uncaffeinated plant comes from the Rooibos shrub Aspalathus Linearis. As the dried leaves brew in hot water it becomes clear why Rooibos is often referred to as Red Bush (a literal translation) as it develops into a beautiful amber red colour. Its popularity has dramatically increased across the world over the last decade, its suggested health benefits no doubt influencing this.
